How do I clear cached email addresses from popping up every time I type in an address in a new email? 

I need to get rid of a an address that keeps popping up in suggested contacts every time I address a new email – how do I do this?

Open Mail
Select the Window menu, then Previous Recipients

Select one or two, or the entire list of addresses, and click the Remove From List button
