QUESTION
———
When running  a query in Microsoft Access, I receive the following error in a pop up dialog box with an OK button:
'QUERY NAME HERE' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long.

ANSWER
———
This had NOTHING to do with the query name!

This instead was due to the fact that we had adjusted the text in one of the fields to read:
FIRST ASST:

[5010T_STOFAM.Name.Full]

Rather than the correct:
FIRST ASST: [5010T_STOFAM.Name_Full]

Note the incorrect ADDITIONAL DOT between Name and Full which should have been an underscore.

Be sure you double and triple check your Field text when receiving strange errors in Microsoft Access
