Checking the configuration on an already existing account:

Tools menu, Account Settings

Select Server Settings under the account you wish to check on the left
Enter Mail.YOURDOMAIN in the Server Name field
Enter 143 in the Port field
Enter your full email address in the User Name field
In the Security Settings section, select None from the Connection Security drop down, and Password, transmitted insecurely from the Authentication method drop down.

Select Outgoing Server (SMTP) from the list on the left
Select your email address/account from the list and click the Edit… button
Enter Mail.YOURDOMAIN in the Server Name field
Enter 25 in the Port field
In the Security and Authentication section, select None from the Connection Security drop down, and Password, transmitted insecurely from the Authentication method drop down.
Enter your full email address in the User Name field

Note if you use Qwest or now CenturyTel as your Internet Service Provider, you may experience trouble with outgoing email.
