QUESTION
———
I have switched web site development firms so many times now we have no idea what our Google Analytics account information is.
Is it possible to retrieve your Google Analytics account info if you have no idea what your logon id is?

ANSWER

Take a look at your web.config file, or the code of one of your web pages, or any includes, etc…
Do a find or search for your GoogleAnalytics-ID
Many times formatted something like: UA-#######-#
You may have some luck then with this ID, going to http://Google.com/Support
From there, click the Analytics Help link (http://support.google.com/googleanalytics)
Under Recommended Articles, click Request To Regain Account Access (http://support.google.com/analytics/bin/request.py?contact_type=regain_access)
This doesn’t always work of course – but worth a shot!
