Scam: Domain Registry of America
We have been getting more calls from clients receiving communication in the mail from an outfit by the name of “Domain Registry of America” looking to “help you” by offering to renew your domain name registration for you.
This is a first class scam – shred these mailers as soon as you see them. (see pic below for an example)
By filling out their form and mailing it back, you are unknowingly authorizing them to transfer your domain name to their control, and charge you almost double what we do for the registration services.
