How Do I Manage My Voicemail?

 


Use Your Email to Listen to Your Voicemail

Voicemail messages arrive in your Inbox as audio file attachments.
(change the email address voicemails are sent to by following the steps in the Elevate App section below)

To listen to a voicemail message, open the attachment to play the file.
To forward the voicemail, simply forward the email.

 


Use Your Phone To Manage Your Voicemail

Listen to Voicemail:

  1. Pick up your phone and dial your own extension
  2. When you hear your greeting, dial your PIN code
  3. Follow the prompts

Change Voicemail Greeting, PIN code, etc:

  1. Pick up your phone and dial your own extension
  2. When you hear your greeting, dial your PIN code
  3. Follow the prompts

 

To listen to voicemail over the phone:

Inside the Office

Your Voicemail:
From your phone: Dial your own extension and enter your PIN code when prompted.

Another Extension’s Voicemail:
From any phone: Dial that extension

– OR –

From an outside line call your phone number and when the voicemail greeting begins, press #
Follow the voice prompts:
Please enter your extension, Press # when done.”
Please enter your PIN code. Press # when done.”

Company Voicemail
From any phone on the account, dial *998
When the voicemail greeting plays, press #
Follow the voice prompts:
Please enter your extension (*998), Press # when done.”
Please enter your PIN code. Press # when done.”

 


Note: When listening to a voicemail message using your phone, you have the following options available:

  • 1 – listen to new voicemail
    • during VM playback
      • 1 – replay the current message
      • 2 – delete the VM
        • 5 – confirm deletion
      • 3 – mark message as unheard
      • 4 – skip current message
      • 5 – callback the sender of voicemail
      • 6 – forward voicemail to the extension
      • # – skip the playback of message details
    • after VM playback
      • 1 – replay the current message
      • 2 – delete the VM
      • 3 – mark message as unheard
      • 4 – skip current message
      • 5 – callback the sender of voicemail
      • 6 – forward voicemail to the extension
  • 2 – listen to old messages
    • during VM playback
      • 1 – replay the current message
      • 2 – delete the VM
        • 5 – confirm deletion
      • 3 – mark message as unheard
      • 4 – skip current message
      • 5 – callback the sender of voicemail
      • 6 – forward voicemail to the extension
      • # – skip the playback of message details
    • after VM playback
      • 1 – replay the current message
      • 2 – delete the VM
      • 3 – mark message as unheard
      • 4 – skip current message
      • 5 – callback the sender of voicemail
      • 6 – forward voicemail to the extension
  • 3 – personal options
    • 1 – record voicemail greeting
    • 2 – change PIN
    • * – return to VM list

Use The Elevate App To Manage Your Voicemail

Elevate Desktop App

Listen to Voicemail:

  1. Open the Elevate Desktop App on your computer.
  2. Click the Voicemail icon on the left
  3. Select the Voicemail you would like to hear

Change Voicemail Settings:

  1. Open the Elevate Desktop App on your computer.
  2. Click the Profile (avatar) icon at the bottom left of the window.
  3. Click Voicemail settings.
  4. From here, you may:
    -Update your PIN
    -Record a new greeting
    -Adjust transcription settings
    -Change the email address voicemails are sent to
    -etc

Elevate Mobile App

Listen to Voicemail

  1. Open the Elevate Mobile App on your Phone or Tablet.
  2. Click the Voicemail icon on the left
  3. Select the Voicemail you would like to hear

Change Voicemail Settings:

  1. Open the Elevate Mobile App on your Phone or Tablet
  2. Touch the My Account (gear) icon at the lower right
  3. Scroll down to the SETTINGS section, and touch Voicemail
  4. From here, you may:
    -Update your PIN
    -Record a new greeting
    -Adjust transcription settings
    -Change the email address voicemails are sent to
    -etc

 

 

 

Set up your Voicemail:

  1. On your phone, dial your extension.
  2. Enter the PIN, followed by the # key.
  3. Select option 3 for personal options.
  4. Select option 1 to record your voicemail greeting.
  5. Follow the voice prompts to record and check your greeting.
