Write a MicroStrategy Report to a database table

How do I make a MicroStrategy report populate a database table, rather than outputting to a static report?

This feature is called a DataMart.
Edit the report in MSTR Desktop
Select Configure DataMart… from the Data menu 
Enter a new table name* in the Table Name field
*Note: the table name should not contain any dashes (-). This will cause an error when the DataMart is executed.

Also note, the report cannot contain any Derived Metrics. If you require Derived Metrics, you will need to do that math on the data in a query after it has been exported to the database table.
