How do I cancel or delete my domain name registration?

Note – There is no way to “delete” or “cancel” a domain name. You simply cancel the auto renewal of the domain and then when the domain registration expires the domain name is released to be registered by other parties.

Disabling auto renew does just that, it disables the domain from automatically renewing at the end of its currently registered time period and you are no longer billed for the domain.

The domain remains in your name for the remainder of its current registration period.

Click the View Details button next to the domain you are cancelling
Click the Disable Auto Renew button near the middle of the page
