QUESTION
———
I have submitted tickets in the past to have my email account setup as a domain administrator on the email/webmail system, but it keeps getting reset to a non-admin user.

ANSWER

The reason for this is that once an email account has been setup as an administrator user in the email/webmail system, it is assumed that all changes to that user’s email account will now take place through the webmail administrative interface.

If you make any changes to this user’s email account (i.e. password) through the Control Panel instead of through the administrative side of webmail, the user’s account will automatically be reset to a non-admin account.

Contact us to ask for your account to be re-assigned administrator privileges on the email/webmail system.
